HART Paramedic
Tom Dudziec is a HART Paramedic who has worked for West Midlands Ambulance Service since 2014. He has a strong passion for community response, where he started as a Community First Responder over a decade ago, and still coordinates and responds for the local Hereford & Worcester CFR charity. He has a rescue background having previously volunteered for a Mountain Rescue team, and was an on call firefighter for over 11 years. He believes that meaningful interventions are important in patient outcome, and they can be as simple as stopping a patient from getting any colder. Bystander education can mean that lifesaving interventions are carried out rapidly. This is why he devotes so much time to community response and education.
