Sharon Hardwick

Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science

Sharon Hardwick joined West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust in 1995 and in 1998 she qualified as a paramedic. In 2001 she moved to Hereford and Worcester Ambulance Service NHS Trust in the capacity of Clinical Supervisor. She quickly progressed on to work as a Training Officer and subsequently gained the position of Training Manager for the Trust. After helping to design the Foundation Degree in Pre-Hospital, Unscheduled and Emergency Care for the University of Worcester, in 2007 she successfully gained employment at the University as a Senior Lecturer. She was also instrumental in the development of the BSc Paramedic Science, which commenced in 2017. She remains a registered and practising paramedic. She has studied and gained a BSc (Hons), a PG Cert in Learning and Teaching, and an MEd. She now works for Birmingham City University as Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science.
