Academic Course Lead and Paramedic
Martin is the Academic Course Lead for Paramedic Science at the University of Gloucestershire. Previously he has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Worcester and as a Lecturer at Coventry University. He currently remains clinical by maintaining a part-time contract with West Midlands Ambulance Service as a paramedic alongside his main role. Prior to this he worked as a school teacher and completed a Masters in Teaching and Learning. He is part of the Clinical Response to a Major Incident task and finish group for NHS England, as well as working as a subject matter expert for educational reviews for The London Ambulance service. He is also completing a Doctorate in Education with a focus on ambulance education and the Clinical Response to a Major Incident.
