“The JRCALC Guidelines are the established standard of practice for all ambulance paramedics across the UK. Class Publishing have been the exclusive publisher of this essential material since 2013, and have driven JRCALC forward. Initially published as a loose leaf printed file, Class have transformed presentation and style for the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) who commission the work. In 2013 the move to fully bound was successfully delivered and in 2016 Class Publishing developed the JRCALC app on their own initiative, to provide us with a technology solution. This has now been adopted by every single NHS Ambulance Service in the country, and is making a real difference to the way our clinicians deliver patient care. Paramedics can now access the most up to date guidelines on the move, using clever search and drug dosage filtering information. In recent years, the technology platform has developed even further, allowing ambulance services to push out urgent bulletins to our staff. The JRCALC app is now established as an essential reference and communication tool. AACE are delighted that Class engages the Ambulance Trusts in the continued development of the project, hosting bi-annual user group meetings. These are some of the best attended national ambulance service meetings all year.”
