What are the benefits of adding Trust educational material onto ParaPass?
The ParaPass app works offline and is the ideal tool for busy clinicians who want to undertake quick CPD. In addition, we have the option to provide reporting for Trusts on how many clinicians have undertaken a piece of learning. There are deep links between JRCALC Plus and ParaPass, providing assurance that guidelines have been read and understood.
All ParaPass modules provide certificates, so paramedics can evidence their CPD.
How do I add content onto ParaPass for my Trust?
Class editorial team look after all the content uploading for you. To add content to ParaPass, please contact our Editorial Assistant, Najiyah Begum: najiyah.begum@class.co.uk. Naj will be pleased to help you. All your content will be added to a preview site for you to review before publication – nothing will be released without your approval of the app preview.
Is there any cost to adding Trust content onto ParaPass?
If your Ambulance Trust subscribes to ParaPass, which the majority do, all content is included and there is no additional cost.
Are you planning any developments to ParaPass in the future?
Yes. ParaPass is being continually improved. Later in 2023, we plan to launch the ParaFolio associated resource. This will be a portfolio for paramedics where they can track their HCPC standards for CPD. Initial designs of ParaFolio are here. We are in the beta phase of this project and would welcome feedback on how it can be adapted for the benefit of clinicians.

How do I access ParaPass?
You can log in to ParaPass using your Trust email address and the same password you have for JRCALC Plus. If you need a password reminder, you can reset your password here. The English Ambulance Trusts have subscriptions to ParaPass so you should be able to log in with your Trust email address. If you experience any problems logging in, please contact our customer support department at apps@class.co.uk. The team will be delighted to help you. We can give all members of Trust education and quality improvement departments free temporary access to ParaPass, even if you do not have a subscription, so do contact us.
