Rebekah has been working as a paramedic for the London Ambulance Service for the past 18 months. The first four and a half years of her career saw her in Scotland working for the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) where she completed her diploma in paramedic science. Prior to this she completed a degree in biomedical sciences focusing on anatomy but also getting to study the likes of physiology, pharmacology and embryology. All this gave her a solid grounding when she endeavours to provide good and patient centred care out on the front lines. Whilst in Scotland she volunteered where she could with events like Save a Life Scotland, going into schools, as well as being part of a patient safety group for the local area. Outside work she stays fit through various sports and likes to unwind in front of a good movie or boxset. Most of the time you will find her on two wheels, both the bicycle and the motorcycle variety. Writing has been a quiet passion, whether academic writing, storytelling or lyrics, there is a note book for each somewhere in her life.
