Casualty Care for Fire and Rescue at The Emergency Services Show 2018
Kate Anderson

Class Professional Publishing is delighted to announce a celebration of our first ever fire-specific publication, Casualty Care for Fire and Rescue, taking place at this year’s Emergency Services Show: 2pm on Wednesday 19th September, on our new L81 Fire Stand. This title is an essential guide for lifesaving care and first aid, written by and for firefighters. As the fire services are now increasingly involved in the delivery of medical care through co-responding schemes, pre-hospital medical training has become crucial in fire departments. This textbook combines skills-based practical approach with up-to-date clinical research and legislation, to cover the range of medical emergencies that firefighters are expected to deliver. This includes trauma injuries, burns, road traffic collisions and cardiac arrest, with all chapters supported by illustrations, photography and anatomical diagrams.

“Great book for firefighters of any level or any junior medical practitioner, great study guide or just a book to turn to from time to time for personal or group study.”

Glen Proctor, MIFireE MCMI

We at Class Professional Publishing are also delighted that one of the fantastic authors of this text will be available on our L81 Fire Stand. Simon Todd has 20 years of firefighting experience, and is currently a Crew Manager for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service. He is also a paramedic for the South Western Ambulance Service Trust (SWAST), so be sure to come along to our stand for the opportunity to quiz a real expert.

We look forward to seeing you at 2pm, and cake is on us!
